ISLAMIC STUDIES

It is paramount our students are taught key principles that shape our muslim characters and drive our success in life. We believe our children must understand and find the Aqida- understand our faith and how our religion can guide us through our lives and influence our actions. We also cover Fiqh- which explores the Islamic Law as revealed in the Quran and the actions of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh), and its implementation in the real world. The Sira ( the study of the life of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)), is also a topic we heavily focus on. Accompanied with Sira, Hadiths will be included to support our teaching. Elements of the tafseer (interpretation) of the Quran will be synoptically linked to these lessons to offer a complete understanding of the meaning and guides of the holy Quran.

Moreover, we recognise Akhelaq (manners and principles) to be of upmost importance which we must exhibit, and thus incorporate these lessons in our Islamic studies. The Islamic History and Civilisation is a very interesting topic that is implemented in our curriculum, which provides extensive knowledge to the students. Stories of the Prophets and Companions will be frequently told to the students.
